1cup pure maple syrup
3/4cup natural cocoa powder
1cup almond butter
2tsp vanilla extract
1/2tsp baking powder
1/4cup dark chocolate chips
Heat syrup on low heat on the stove. Stir in cocoa powder over low heat until smooth. Cocoa can burn fast so keep your eye on it.
Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
Pour into an 8x8 baking pan greased with olive oil or coconut oil. Bake at 325F for 40-50 minutes.
Use a toothpick to make sure it's cooked through. Cool before cutting/serving.
